Distribution Requirements Planner

We are currently looking for a DRP Planner to join our Supply Chain Team, who will mainly be responsible for managing the Supply Network of the assigned area of the business by replenishing each dispatch point to meet customer service objectives whilst maintaining optimal stock cover that also takes into account the distribution costs.

• University Degree preferably in engineering

• 3-5 years of experience in Planning, Customer Service, Distribution or Sales

• Familiarity in problem solving methodologies

• Excellence command in English

• SAP, MSExcel and MSAccess knowledge are strong assets

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Analyze and evaluate the supply plan and net dispatch requirements to satisfy customer needs taking into account the network complexity and the supply constraints

• Plan the regional DC requirements and create necessary stock transfer orders to meet the regional demand

• Close collaboration with sales with weekly follow up meeting to ensure the best RDC requirement

• Balance the available stock to ensure optimum stocks of the right material in the right location

• Establish the Regional DC Stock Cover policies; periodically review the policy and pro-actively propose changes if needed

• Determine key issues that may impact supply, highlight to Category DSP Manager

• Challenge the RDC demand plan and highlight to Category DSP Manager

• Challenge existing Logistics processes and tools by regularly reviewing with distribution manager

• Plan weekly direct delivery from factory/ other locations to regional DC in order to contribute to CFR & distribution cost and have a lean network

• Determine the priority for DC in bound operations, in case of a bottleneck, by being aware of the full supply requirement picture

• Challenge potential direct delivery options for co-manufacturers, co-packers, import, distributors

• Provide long term visibility for warehouse capacity and discuss pro-actively the changes needed
