QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

We are currently looking for a Transport Specialist to join our Customer Services & Distribution Team in Gebze, who will mainly be responsible for ensuring truck inbound and outbound operations in all transport operations.

• University degree from relevant Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or business administration fields

• At least 3 years’ experience; successful operational experience at market/business level in transportation

• Relevant operational experience at market/business level in Customer Service, Sales, Warehouse Management and other logistic companies is a plus


JOB DESCRIPTION

• Control that the third party services for the transport operation is on the required level with the optimum costing

• Ensure that transportation service is in line with Nestlé quality, safety standards, guidelines and best practices

• Coordinate and publish the truck requirement for inbound and outbound process and report the realization

• Ensure the planned deliveries done every day by controlling the delivery notes

• Open shipment documents in the system if needed

• Track the return of delivery notes and ensure the correct pricing done in the system

• Track the dispatches that are out of the transportation module, calculating and progress correct prices

• Control the invoices of all realized shipments (inbound, outbound, pallet transfer) are with correct prices

• Track and improve pallet inbound , outbound and collection process in all operations

• Influence Distribution Management and Customer Service in order to continuously improve service and cost through regular communication e.g. delivery in right quantity, at right place/ window and information that will keep customers and CS updated to manage proactively collaborating with Customers and other functional departments (customer service, warehouse, factories) to ensure an adequate level of flexibility of structures and processes to meet ad-hoc customer requirements or to deal with unexpected

• Track Transport KPIs close to the target values. by: (1) putting in place a structured continuous improvement approach based on the application of and (2) monitoring and managing Safety, Health and Environment, Quality and CARE regulations and Best Practices
