Senior Sales Representative - Office Products
Position title: Senior Sales Representative - Office Products
Location: İstanbul & Northwest region based out of İstanbul, Turkey
Reports to: Senior Sales Manager
Contract type: Permanent, full-time
As a Sr. Sales Representative you will be accountable for managing wholesalers, their related traditional trade retailers and specialty accounts. You will execute sales programs, helping to deliver targeted top line sales revenue for brands like Rotring, Parker, PaperMate, Sharpie and others.
- Execute the annual operating plan, meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets to grow both the customer’s and Newell Brands’ business
- Establish credibility with the customer through demonstrating knowledge of the marketplace, key business drivers for respective product categories and the target consumer in stationery and office products market
- Share customer (buyer) / consumer / end user feedback with the appropriate sales and marketing teams
- Use market insights, and customer POS data to identify and drive incremental sales opportunities
- Identify key influencers and hierarchy at the customers and develop strong trade relationships to leverage their capabilities to maximize sales and service to the consumer
- Deliver timely communication to the customer base on new products, pricing, promotions and flawlessly execute sales, channel and brand marketing initiatives in the assigned territory
- Address customer concerns/needs and elevate as appropriate to sales management
- Track daily/monthly sales numbers and participate in demand planning to constantly improve forecast accuracy for assigned territory
- Apply understanding of product portfolio, brand positioning and strategy to leverage product sell-in and sell-out
- Analyze data provided by accounts regarding POS and inventory turns and be proactive with necessary actions to meet and exceed customer metrics
- University degree - preferably in marketing or business
- Minimum 4 years of traditional retail and wholesale sales experience within consumer goods is a must (preferably in office and/or stationary products)
- Fluent Turkish and good level of English for in-company communication
- Good command of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Valid driver’s license
- Military service must be completed (for male candidates)
- High level of drive, enthusiasm, and passion to win
- Strong negotiation skills and commercial orientation
- Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills
- Acts with integrity; conducts business fairly, honestly, and ethically
