JOB TITLE
Treasury Specialist, reporting to Finance Manager & Controller
THE ROLE
This is an exciting opportunity for candidates who want to gain ‘real life’ treasury experience in a high-quality international company to develop their careers. The role offers exposure to a broad range of tasks, within a great work environment. We are looking for a person with impeccable integrity and strong sense of ownership and responsibility. While this is a hands-on role, it also provides plenty of opportunity for ‘thinking’ and initiative, e.g. around improvements, analysis, communication, etc. We will be offering a competitive salary package for the right candidate.
The specific responsibilities of the role will be evolving somewhat over time in response to changes in the company’s dynamic business environment, however, key priorities will always include the following:
Be the owner of the Company’s banking and cash management processes, ensuring that the Company operates in full adherence with policy, control and approval processes, and all relevant laws and regulations
Maintain the integrity and correctness of all banking and payment transactions, including cheques management, payment management (including allocation of funds for payments received), financing, cash placement, cards management, bank guarantees management, etc.
Manage cashflow forecasting, including:
- Liaison with relevant stakeholders for estimate of future cash movements
- Assessment of actual cash received / paid for weekly review with CFO
- Continuous improvement of the Cashflow Forecasting Tool
Some reporting / other tasks, including aging reporting, BA forms, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS
Technical Competencies
Degree in business, economics or finance desired (or studying towards a degree)
3+ years' work experience or more
Knowledge of Turkish and int’l accounting standards
Broad transactional banking and cashflow management experience
Hands-on experience with ERPs (e.g. Canias), proficiency in MS Excel
Good spoken and written English desirable, but not essential
Personal Skills
Rigorous, yet able to plan and deliver on time
Conscientious and reliable, with ability to take ownership and be accountable
Ability to communicate well with people of all hierarchical levels
Good time management skills, with ability to get things done within deadlines
Forthcoming and honest, with impeccable integrity
