Purpose of the Job

Within NN, the ORM department is responsible to advise and support Business Management in the implementation of ORM activities and to provide support to the business on the internal and external factors that might create operational challenges. As part of the risk framework, the ORM department is responsible to support the 1^st line with:

• Risk identification
• Risk measurement
• Risk monitoring
• Risk mitigation
• Projects

Key Responsibilites

• Managing the local ECF project
• Providing and recording incidents (issues) and to monitor and to ensure the proper recording and resolution of incidents
• Following up the risk mitigating actions, closing the action points in iRisk after performing TOD (test of design) and TOE (test of effectiveness) activities
• Independent risk view on ECF Report
• Facilitating Non-Financial Risk Committee, Key Level Risk Assessment & ORSA
• Informing management on the results of 2^nd line testing results
• Making root cause analyses of (serious) incidents
• Encouraging and objectively, as well as actively, challenging/monitoring sound risk management throughout the organization and coordinate the reporting of risks.
• Having escalation power in relation to business activities that are judged to present unacceptable risks to NN
