QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Leading international manufacturer of wind turbines worldwide, present in several countries across the world seeks qualified Sales Engineer within the development of its activities in Istanbul Office to fill the following position in daily operations in;

Essential Experiences, Skills, and Qualifications:

  • Identify and compile technical market requirements and trends,
  • Market technical solutions and identify market requirements (e.g. WTG options) and sell the Nordex products technically,
  • Participate in client meetings to clarify and/or negotiate the technical scope (including preparing and conducting technical presentations and documents),
  • Prepare technical parts of WTG supply contracts and offers/bids,
  • Respond to technical queries,
  • Perform technical risk analysis of WTG supply contracts according to Nordex process,
  • Liaise with internal technical departments in Turkey and in Headquarter,
  • Perform cost calculations for specific technical solutions (BOP, options, etc.) in cooperation with related departments (project engineering, TM),
  • Representation of the company at sector events and in sector associations,
  • Communication with market participants such as consultants, authorities, etc.

Responsibilities:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics or Mechanical Engineering,
  • Between 1-3 years of  work experience in Turkish Renewable Energy Market or with sales to utilities and other institutional investors,
  • Knowledge of renewable energy solutions and regulatory framework,
  • Ability to deal and work with other cultures and technical areas hand in hand and to find solutions,
  • High integrity and motivation,
  • Excellent knowledge of both written and spoken English,
  • Ready to work in a dynamic and fast-developing atmosphere,
  • Proactive and result-oriented approach with strategic and analytical skills,
  • Self-driven and process-oriented working style, with sufficient flexibility to cover the unforeseen,
  • Competence in MS Office applications.
