QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Responsible for determining the long term strategy, development, implementation and execution of operational plans that optimize sales, market share and revenue growth for a brand or set of brands in the short and long term.
  • Has a quality focused mindset.
  • Reporting of adverse events that are proclaimed by physicians, pharmacists, patients and all other parties to Drug Safety & Epidemiology Department in time and in compliance to relevant Novartis SOP
  • Develops sales forecast and ensures key tracking measures are in place.
  • Identifies country-specific insights using market research, competitive intelligence, and understanding of disease areas.
  • Prioritizes appropriate targeting, positioning and messaging across all customer segments.
  • Implements portfolio tools, e.g. category sales aids, digital platforms
  • Optimizes channel/promotional mix for individual brand through appropriate resource allocation that meets brand objectives and customer needs.
  • Prepares and implement product & strategy trainings & updates for field force at trainings and cycle meetings.
  • Creates and delivers operational plans appropriate to life cycle of brand to optimize return for Novartis.
  • Executes key expert development program.
  • Leads development and delivery of key promotional campaign materials from insights to review, production and implementation.
  • Manages brand finance and budgets, including appropriate management of brand resources.
  • Drives consistent execution of product strategy throughout Marketing, Sales, Managed Markets/Market Access, Medical and SciOps using appropriate KPIs. Manages effective agency partnerships.
  • Monitors business performance and external environment via appropriate tools and takes corrective action as required to meet business objectives.
  • Acts as brand champion to create focus and enthusiasm both internally and with external customers and agencies. Collaborates with market access, medical and Sci-Ops departments to support marketing authorization and reimbursement processes

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • University degree in Science and/or degree in Business Marketing or Clinical Research.
  •  English fluent, additional language a plus.
  • 4 years’ operational marketing experience with focus on extensive product/brand management including customer facing/sales experience.
