Turkey is part of Business Area Near East and CIS (BANEC), a regional hub of Novo Nordisk, consisting of 22 countries including Turkey, Russia, and Israel, covering a population base of 670 million people and with 1,126 colleagues dedicated to Changing Diabetes, Changing Possibilities in Haemophilia and to make a difference in the other diseases we help treat. We are looking for a dynamicHuman Resource Manager, reportingtothe HR Director for Turkey.

The Novo Nordisk office is in İstanbul, Turkey.


About the department

NN Turkey has a history of selling and supply to Turkey since 1995. We employ highly engaged people all dedicated to support our affiliate outperform competition and overcome challenges related to HR, Marketing, Market Access, Medical, Clinical, Regulatory, Quality, Finance, IT and Legal. The focus of company’s activities is related to diabetes, serving more than 650,000 Turkish diabetes patients along with approximately 5,000 patients with obesity but there is also a significant Biopharm business with Novo Nordisk having a leading position in Hemophilia with inhibitors market.


The position

Internally the position is called as HR Business Partner in line with our global strategy.

As a Human Resource Business Partner, you are responsible to manage the overall employee life cycle.

Your main objective is to ensure we have the best organisation and best people in place to ensure continued growth in the affiliate.

Your role is to partner with the business to ensure that HR creates value for the business by fulfilling the four roles as follows :

Strategic Partner– aligning human resources, communication and business strategies in the affiliate and identifying HR practices that support the execution of the business strategies

Organisational Expert – designing and delivering innovative, efficient and aligned processes across the affiliate in relevance to HR

Employee Champion – providing high standard resources to employees ensuring their contributions and development are linked to the business

Change Agent – building relationships of trust, solving problems, managing ambiguity and leading change initiatives based on organizational needs and in consultation with affiliate management & Business Area

You will also champion Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) initiatives in the Company.

Focus should be on compliance with Novo Nordisk principles, internal legal laws and to defend company interests. Overall, you are expected to maintain business ethics and to defend the confidentiality of company as well as the patients’ secrets, business plans, ideas and strategies against third parties.


Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with a University degree inHuman Resource Management, Business Administration, Organisational Psychology or similar.

You have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a sales organisation as a HR generalist, having a broad knowledge of all HR disciplines, with excellent business and strategic understanding. Work experience within the pharmaceutical industry would be an asset.

You have a proven track record to analyse complex issuesand as a strong communicator, you are able to handle many different priorities at the same time. You create strong internal and external relationships and drive cross-functional collaboration and team-spirit.

You also possess a constructive mind-set and high cultural adaptability. Understanding of the local labour laws and regulations is an added advantage.

You can take initiative, work independently and fluency in both written and spoken English and Turkish is a prerequisite.
