SUMMARY

As part of a team of experts, you will be challenged and trained to master and support solutions for the fast growing industry challenges. As an application engineer you will support our sales teams, providing our prestigious customers and prospects with a range of solutions for optics and virtual reality. Next to this key role you will manage and perform consulting projects and proof of concepts as well as organizing and providing customer trainings on our products.

Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities will include being a technical contact for our customers regarding any topics on our solutions,

Supporting our sales team with technical presentations,

Completing consulting projects based on our soft- and hardware products,

Supervising workshops and trainings,

Coaching our customers to help them optimize their development processes.

Minimum Qualifications

A high motivation and good social skills are essential to address the team’s project goals,

University degree (Master's or Bachelor) in the field of physics, computer science or engineering,

Open minded, curious and proactive,

Fluency in German and English is required,

Excellent communication skills and ability to manage his or her time effectively,

Strong technical-oriented and team-building spirit, as well as a great thoroughness and attention to detail,

Experience in optical engineering and design, with knowledge of some of the following fields:

Optics, Photometry

CAD programs (Catia, NX, Creo, etc.)

Program languages like C/C++ , Matlab, VB script

Optical softwares, Visualization softwares such as virtual reality applications

Material properties

Automotive industry or Aeronautics and/or experience in optics or illumination systems
