GENEL NİTELİKLER VE İŞ TANIMI
- Research and plan the most appropriate route for shipment
- Negotiate contracts, transportation and handling costs
- Complete customs formalities or sub-contracting services
- Provide quotations to existing clients/ new clients and agents
- Charge out files
- Enter full job details onto Cargowise
- Ensure all jobs are processed based on expected / agreed handling process
- Work closely with customers, colleagues and third parties to ensure smooth operations to deadlines
- Deliver (alternative) solutions to customers where possible to minimise the impact on the scheduled delivery upon changes to the schedule
- Ensure effective and constant communications with customers
- Be proactive when faced with problems
- Provide service in line with OIA’s Mission Statement
- Check invoices out and in
- Timely manage invoices out and in
- Work in line with finance requirements including the month end procedures
- Liaise with the Finance department, as necessary
- Develop business from existing and new customers
- Assist in sales by calling potential clients and entering details in Cargowise
- Follow up on quotations
- Be aware of potential customers and look for opportunities to develop the business
- Co-operate with and leading colleagues to create a positive working environment
- Think, act and react in accordance with the company’s values
- Maintain a tidy and professional working area
- Assist with projects as necessary and as directed
- Report any issues to appropriate manager as they arise
- Any other duties as reasonably requested
