QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree or higher diploma in relevant area,

• Certified Accounting qualification to ensure conformity with in country requirements,

• At least 12 years’ experience working in finance, accounting and/or contracts in Turkey,

• Experience in the mining industry is a great advantage, international experience would be an advantage also,

• Understanding and experience IFRS,

• Knowledge of financial monitoring and reporting,

• Fluency in oral and written Turkish and English,

• Valid Driver's license,

• Ability to work well under pressure,

• Detail-oriented and proactive,

• No military service obligation for male candidate,

• Must be reside in Develi district of Kayseri. 


MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performs general and complex accounting and tax duties to ensure the Company’s financials are kept in a proper manner,

• Lead requirements for compliance with relevant Turkish accounting and tax regulations,

• Reviews and/or prepares relevant reports by using accounting skills for problem solving,

• Analyzes and verifies internal consistency, completeness, and arithmetic accuracy of account documents.

• As required follows up on contractual issues, such as progress against contract schedule and agreed payments, and reports on actual expenditure trends, and prepare forecasts,

• Manage the accounts payable function and reporting,

• Process and manage contractual invoices and disbursements,

• Provides miscellaneous contract support functions,

• Manage the project accounting requirements,

• Liaise with the Company’s external auditors as required,

• Be involved with the ERP set up and ongoing function as planned by the Company,
