Maritime Operation Senior Specialist

·         University degree or above in related fields (Maritime, Maritime Transport, Logistics & Business Administration)

·         At least 7 years import and export operation experience in international maritime transport companies

·         Capable of developing good relations with customers and suppliers

·         Strong knowledge of cost calculation, operational planning and regular reporting

·         Fluency in English; both written and spoken

·         Strong knowledge of MS Office

·         Military service completed for male candidates

JOB DESCRIPTION

The senior operations specialist coordinates activities of container export and import shipments.

·         Ensure documents accurately issued, distributed and released to customers,carriers and agents in a timely and efficient manner

·         Booking with carrier, send booking confirmation to customer

·         Track and trace shipments and provide updates to the clients and sales department

·         Ensure billing is completed within a timely manner

·         Provide rates from suppliers  to OMSAN offices and agent for nomination shipments

·         Prepare Bill of Lading (Mbl & Hbl) and related documents

·         Ensure customer requirements and expectations are met

·         Work with branch offices and departments within OMSAN Logistics

·         Provide supervision, guidance, and support to all team members regarding operations, standardized procedures, and systems

·         Develop and build relationships with shipping lines

·         Negotiate and establish pricing for container shipments
