Data Engineer (Remote)

Optimize Technologies is an Istanbul-based e-commerce and supply chain technology focused consulting company supporting retail and e-commerce businesses in Turkey, Europe, and in the United States.

We are looking for a passionate and talented Data Engineer to join our dynamic team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Management Information Systems or other relevant departments,
• At least 4 years of experience in data analysis, data modeling, data insight and reporting on large data sets, API development, and deployment to cloud systems,
• Working experience with GIT, Project Cloud Deployment/Publish, AWS management,
• Knowledge and experience in data integration with external web services, such as SOAP, REST, or Graph QL APIs, are recommended,
• Knowlegde about reporting tools such as Python, PowerBI is a plus,
• Experience with the Salsify PIM platform is a big plus,
• Experience with JIRA or an equivalent project management tool is a big plus,
• Proficiency in Professional English is a must,
• Excellent proficiency of MS Office Suite,
• Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills,
• Ability to manage workload and conflicting priorities to meet deadlines,
• Project management, multitasking, and analytical thinking skills,
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills,
• No military obligation for male candidates.

Duties and Essential Position Functions:

• API development and publishing to cloud systems(AWS) for data integration,
• GIT repository management,
• Analyze and interpret large datasets to derive meaningful analytical solutions and actionable insights,
• Closely working with different teams to drive, implement and analyze results.
