QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Optimize Technologies is an Istanbul-based e-commerce and supply chain technology focused consulting company supporting retail and e-commerce businesses in Turkey, Europe, and in the United States. This role will support the digital sales and marketing efforts of a US-based area rug and furniture wholesaler serving mass merchants and e-commerce giants with 15,000+ SKUs. The client is also expanding to the direct-to-consumer sales channel via a new website. In this role, Senior Digital Sales and Marketing Specialist will be reporting to the Head of Digital Sales and Marketing based in the US.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree is a must. Preferred fields include but not limited to Business, Economics, Statistics, Math, Industrial Engineering, and Systems Engineering, Master’s degree in sales or marketing is a plus,
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in digital sales and/or marketing and e-commerce, and/or digital product management is required,
  • 3+ years of experience managing sales-oriented teams is desired,
  • 3+ years of experience in retail, preferably in home décor is desired,
  • Experience with the Salsify PIM platform is a big plus,
  • Hands-on experience with Amazon and/or Walmart, and/or Wayfair is a big plus,
  • Experience with JIRA or an equivalent project management tool is a big plus,
  • Proficiency in Professional English is a must,
  • Excellent proficiency in MS Office Suite,
  • Excellent proficiency with Google Marketing Platform,
  • 3+ years of experience in SEO and SEM with proven trackrecord,
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills,
  • Ability to manage workload and conflicting priorities to meet deadlines,
  • Project management, multitasking, and analytical thinking skills,
  • Proven experience in setting up and driving digital channel KPIs,
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills,
  • No military obligation for male candidates.



Duties and Essential Position Functions:

  • Support the Head of Digital Sales & Marketing in establishing a sales-oriented culture at the organization,
  • Support the Head of Digital Sales & Marketing in building organic and paid marketing strategies,
  • Support the Finance Department in liaison with the Head of Digital Sales & Marketing in setting up digital marketing budgets across different platforms,
  • Plan, create and execute digital campaigns for E-commerce channels and company’s new B2C (direct-to-consumer) website aligned with overall digital sales & marketing strategy,
  • Develop and manage the optimization strategy in order to increase sales conversions and engagement,
  • Utilize analytics and testing tools such as Google Analytics, GTM, and Hotjar to track customer activity and to optimize experiences and conversion throughout the customer journey,
  • Optimize website performance and conversion through reporting and analytics, SEO, and A/B testing,
  • Manage daily e-commerce marketing efforts by partnering with creative and e-commerce teams to ensure optimal product assortment, UX, product marketing copies,
  • Monthly reporting on website traffic with Google Analytics along with recommendations to achieve and sustain continued improvement in various marketing KPIs (ROI, conversion, awareness, etc.),
  • Respond to stakeholder requests via JIRA in a timely manner.
