“We are looking for a “Lawyer” to join our Zorlu Holding Legal Affairs team in Eskişehir and responsible for the coordination of all legal activities of Zorlu Energy Group companies. 

Job Description 

• To follow up, coordinate and manage all litigation, dispute resolutions, and settlement negotiations directly or with outside counsel/law firms. 

• To represent company as an attorney at law before the Courts, governmental organizations, private institutions and individuals. 

• To review and evaluate agreements regarding electricity market laws in particular retail sales agreements, electricity sales agreements, system use agreements etc. and to join the contract negotiations

• To draft and follow up official correspondences with public authorities and regulatory bodies. 

• To respond and follow up consumer complaints. 

• To provide consultancy for variety of administrative, regulatory, consumer related, commercial and labor issues that might bear legal consequences, assess legal risks, address issues mainly related to electricity market law, consumer law, competition law, data privacy law, labor law and occupational health and safety law. 

• To follow up the new laws, regulations related to company’s major activities and to report to the directors, managers and the other personnel legislation amendments. • Submit legal consultancy to the directors, managers and the other personnel in order to implement laws, regulations and by-laws. 

Minimum Requirements 

• Bachelor’s degree in Law from reputable Universities, Admitted to bar in Turkey, LLM is preferable 

• A minimum of 5 years of legal experience at a leading global law firm and/or in-house at a major multinational corporation 

• Legal experience counseling electricity market law, contract law, consumer law, competition law, data privacy law, labor law, occupational health and safety law is an asset 

• Commercially-minded business advisor and legal strategist with appropriate risk calibration. 

• Demonstrated ability to meet business and organizational goals. 

• Follow the latest innovations and trends in his/her practice areas 

• Military service completion is a must for male candidates 

• Excellent communication, drafting and negotiation skills both in Turkish and English. 

• Ability to negotiate critical business-critical issues 

• Ability to prioritize in a fast-moving environment 

• Excellent command of MS Office application, 

• Strong follow-up on multi tasks, 

• Proactive, teamwork oriented, 

• No travel restrictions, 

• Residency in Eskişehir  

• Driving license
