QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary/Objective

After-sales service is an important source of revenue and profit for the company. A good performance of the after-sales service provides a competitive advantage for the Group against their competitors in case of customer acquisition or even retention.

 

As part of the implementation of the Procurement Team,  GBS Turkey AFS Log. East Cluster seeks Procurement Analysts experienced in procurement, to work within the After Sales Logistics Procurement practice group insuring the supply of the spare parts & accessories within the best QCD (Quality, Cost, Delay) to the central warehouses.

 

Essential functions

He/she will be responsible for processing and following up on spare parts orders and managing spare parts deliveries from the worldwide suppliers to achieve the filling of the spare parts warehouses and the distribution centres in line with the planning. The procurement analyst works closely together with Customer Support Coordinator, Customer Care Manager and Service Contract Coordinator and serves as an important stakeholder for Technical Support in fulfilling their spare parts needs in the customer journey.

 

 

Main Responsibilities:

  • Receive and process spare parts requests, orders, return requests, delivery and price inquiries, from customers or internal organization
  • Follow all parts requests through to their completion (including specific discount forecasts and exceptional sales, exceptional management),
  • Communicate with supply chain on availability, delivery dates or other important matters related to spare parts delivery
  • Escalate and resolve compromised service levels or customer expectations related to spare parts issues
  • Provide information as required for spare parts forecasting and demand planning
  • Be empathetic and work as an advocate for customers
  • Ensure customers’ needs are met quickly and efficiently
  • Communicate regularly with other individuals/departments within the organization
  • Monitor AFS logistic supplier performance for her/his perimeter (VOR, Supplier delays, shipment documentation rate, disponibility rate, backorders, recovery plan),
  • Procurement securization : new suppliers, low sales, shortages, production transfers, upstream stock building before closure periods in full cooperation with others teams,
  • Cooperation for end of life process.
  • Key meetings : AFS Division, Procurement, S&OP, Inventory management, Suppliers, Purchasing committee, Engineering, Marketing…

Requirements;

  • Graduation from an accredited university
  • Communication, customer relations, logistics or similar training preferred
  • Knowledge of Spare Part processes and warehousing ideally worked in a Sales or Service environment.
  • Experience of using a corporate ERP system ideally within sales and warehouse modules is an advantage  
  • Appreciation of commercial service and business development.
  • Working to tight deadlines.
  • Good English skills, both written and verbal, French appreciated,    
  • Experience with and comfort working in a multi-cultural, multi-discipline organization is an advantage  
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel
