The context

You will work within the Systems & Platforms Department in charge of developing Internet connectivity solutions and telematics service offers for the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance.

You participate in the development of new generations of calculators which transform the on-board screen into a real on-board computer to control the vehicle's functions simply: listen to your SMS, dictate your emails by voice, guide by the voice assistant Siri, manage your profile to find all your preferences, Take advantage of connected services through the MY Renault app...

The position is part of the company's strategy which aims to offer, to as many customers as possible, varied and efficient telematics services, in the continuity of the connected multimedia offers already available (EasyLink and OpenR Link for example).

Your missions and responsibilities

As a Connectivity System Engineering Leader (LIS), you contribute to the growth and brand image of Groupe Renault.

You intervene, mainly, in the development phase, industrialization and serial life for projects:

- You are in contact with the Mobile Network Operator (MNO) for the integration of the profile

- You are major players in the resolution of technical problems with the Mobile Network Operator (MNO)

- You follow the delivery of eUICC (eSIM) by the (MNO)

- You are responsible for the proper execution of the Electronic Vehicle Process (PEV) for connectivity (IVC) and multimedia (AIVI) parts

- You are in production support for the production launch and then for the modifications during the series life of a new version of the connectivity (IVC) and multimedia (AIVI) parts

- You contribute to the management of the project documentation (Validation report (One Val), …) with the support of the LIV Métier and the LIS Project.

You work in collaboration with the Validation Engineering Leader (LIV), the function owners (function pilots (PFS), "Product Owner" (PO), "Service Product Owner" (SPO), etc. ) and validators. You are supported by experts, Electronic Development Pilots (PDE) and system architects

Occasional trips to the Group's various sites, as well as to partners and suppliers are to be expected.

Connected Services are a field of innovation that is revolutionizing the automotive world and bringing the customer closer to services that he now masters on his personal mobile devices (smartphone, tablet, etc.).

Who are you?

Engineer (generalist training or mainly electricity/electronics, telecom or IT).

2 to 5 years

- Experience as an engineer on embedded systems

- Experience developing complex systems

- Experience in electronics, telecommunications, signal processing or networking, embedded systems

- Knowledge of the validation of electrical/electronic components/systems

- Knowledge of the AGILE method

- Principles of system engineering and tools (SILK, DOORS, JIRA, ...)

- Knowledge of automotive telecommunication technologies and its industrial constraints is a plus.

- Extremely rigorous and methodical.

- Strong capacity for synthesis.

- Excellent communication and writing skills

- Sense of contact, good interpersonal skills, ease of integration into a team or a project.

- Autonomy, common sense, lucidity, and sense of priorities.

- Know how to defend positions and explain them clearly.

- Ability to argue/negotiate.

- Ability to lead a team

- Ability to work in an international and multicultural environment.

- Advanced level of English (French will be a plus)
