For the academic year 2023-2024, GOKKUSAGI SCHOOLS in ISTANBUL (Atasehir, Bahcelievler, Bahcesehir, Beylikduzu) and ANKARA (Alacaatli) are looking for HOMEROOM (CLASSROOM) TEACHERS who can teach English, Mathematics and Science in English, has a bachelor’s degree in education or relevant licence/certificate and has excellent knowledge of child development and latest education theories and practices, are competent at constructivist and inquiry-based teaching approaches, have high communication skills, can use educational technologies, are principled and treat their students with tenderness and compassion.

We are inviting educators to join our team who will continue their educational journey in international standards. Ataşehir, Bahcelievler and, Bahcesehir campuses are accredited IB PYP schools. Ongoing professional development trainings are provided by the school.

Responsibilities

• Design and/or follow a complete teaching plan; follow the school’s PYP programme of inquiry; Teach alphabet and numeracy along with personal, social and emotional skills
  
• Organize learning material and resources; Use a variety of activities and instructional methods (songs, stories, media, structured games, art, outdoor activities etc) to motivate and stimulate children’s abilities
  
• Maintain an open line of communication with parents and provide appropriate information
  
• Assess students performance and progress to ensure they are mastering the skills on regular basis; Monitor children’s interactions and nurture cooperation and sharing
  
• Cooperate with administration staff; Follow and comply with teaching standards and safety regulations; Attend and contribute the staff meetings
