General Qualifications

• BS degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Finance, Economics, International Relations, Accounting, or a similar discipline,

• At least 4 years of work experience,

• Having financial knowledge in TUBITAK, European Union, Development Agency projects,

• Familiar with the uniform chart of accounts,

• Good command of English (very important),

• Able to use MS Office tools well,

• Used Oracle-ERP financial modules,

• Able to work harmoniously and efficiently within the team,

• Having planning and coordination skills,

• Able to adapt to busy schedule,

• Not related to military service. (For male candidates)

Job Description

The aim of this position is to maintain financial management of R&D and innovation projects funded by national (TÜBİTAK, Ministries, Development Agency, companies, etc.) and especially international (European Union, etc.) institutions. How will be your day like;

• Ensuring financial coordination between researchers and funding institutions,

• Managing and controlling project budget items and expenditures by using related financial systems (TTS, ERP, BPM, Sygma/EC, etc.) and ensuring their compliance with rules of funding institutions.

• Preparation of periodical financial reports and audit documents (CPA report, Certificate on the Financial Statements...etc.) requested by the funding institutions and top management,

• Preparing financial data for national and international ranking institutions (Entrepreneurial and Innovative University Index, TUIK, Multirank, Greenmetric, Higher Education Board reports)

• Financial control of all project and IPR related contracts, tracking the signature process, archiving,

• Uploading financial data to the systems such as XRM, BPM, Sygma (European Union),

• Ensuring the sustainability of the workflow between human resources, procurement, administrative affairs, library, information technology units and academics in order to maintain the necessary financial resources for the projects.

• Managing the VAT exemption application and reporting processes for EU projects,

• Tracing the timesheets and PMs of the project personnel for the EU projects,

• Complete fulfilment of the duties assigned to him during the internal and external financial audit processes
