Now, we are seeking a Software Development Specialist to join our team in the Information Technology Department!

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Main Responsibility will be the maintaince and improvement of the web-based inhouse pricing software of Pegaus Revenue Management department. Some of tasks can be listed as:

1. Implementation of new features and functionalities, enhancement of performance, and implementation of new visuals to improve the overall user experience and workflow.
2. Monitor daily data streams used as inputs for the interface, and perform sanity checks
3. Ensure a smooth stream of data and to enable the automation process of the interface

• Has a developer role in other software development and integration tasks of IT Department if needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Required skills: Web Application Development
• Deep experience in end to end high scale web-development, in particular in building high-performance web applications using Python, Django, React, Typescript, CSS3 and SQL-Postgres
• Workable knowledge of CI/CD, Devops tools and git
• Strong knowledge base of new opensource tech stacks, applications, techniques, and skills
• Strong in solutioning with hands-on experience in software delivery, through the entire life cycle of software development
• Knowledge of UI component libraries to produce high-quality production apps following a high-fidelity design and a specification
• Integrate UI with REST APIs to make the app production-ready
• Experience: At least 3 years of end-to-end web – application/tool development experience in a business setup
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills, ability to multi-task and set priorities.
• Strong analytical mindset with good attention to details, focus on both technical and business aspects
• Fluent in both written and spoken English
• Good communication skills
• Military service must be completed or postponed for at least 2 years for male candidates
• Residing in the Asian side of İstanbul is preferred.
