QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a “Accounting Manager” for our Japanese based client, who being the distributor of many global brands in Türkiye.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics etc.
• 5-10 years of management experience,
• Well-versed in the uniform Chart of Accounts, experienced in general accounting processes,
• Advanced level MS Office and SAP programs,
• Responsible and successful in business follow-up,
• Advanced analysis and reporting skills,
• Competent in VAT Return processes,
• Having knowledge of tax law, commercial law and other financial legislation and general accounting legislation and practices, following up-to-date changes regularly,
•  Being able to prepare balance sheets,income statements and other financial statements, having experinced in cost and financing and knowledge and skills about audit functions,
• Knowledge and management experience in general accounting, financial planning, cash flow, credit, budget, bank transactions,
• Good command of English,
• Residing/able to reside in Istanbul

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Performing monthly and annual trial balance checks
• Control of month-end transactions
• Coordinating the accounting and tax teams
• Follow-up to copmpany's tax liabilities and control of the prepared declarations
• Coordinating independent audit and internal audit processes
• Preparation of payment lists
• Monitoring of VAT Return processes
