Merchandiser

We are looking for an 'EXPORT CUSTOMER REPRESENTATIVE' with the following qualifications to be appointed to the headquarters of Petek 1855, our deep-rooted company operating in the leather industry in Turkey, whose foundations were laid 165 years ago, in the MALTEPE/ZEYTINBURNU location.

MERCHANDISER

Requisite Education And Experience / Minimum Qualifications
· University degree, ideally in Leather engineering, Industrial engineering and/or Textile engineering
· Min 1-2 years of merchandising experience in Leather Goods and or Textile goods
· Proactive team player with strong communication, negotiation and analytical skills
· Good sense of fashion and follow up trends
· Ability to build up strong relationship with the suppliers, buyers, and designers
· Very well organized and strong daily follow up skills
· Very good command of both written and spoken English, also spoken of Italian or French is preferred.
· Very good command of MS Office applications

Key Operations
· Daily communication with clients and vendors
· Production and Development follow up
· Price negotiations with client and vendor
· Co-ordinating QA team

Job Description
· Daily correspondence with clients in multiple countries with email and phone/ zoom conferences.
· Directs the department to ensure the quality of the orders arrive in a timely and accurate.
· Expanding suppliers base and improving quality level.
