GENEL NİTELİKLER VE İŞ TANIMI

The leader of the fuel and lubricant sectors in Turkey, Petrol Ofisi was founded as the first and national brand of Turkey on February 18, 1941. Petrol Ofisi traditionally maintains its titles as “the leader of fuel sector in Turkey”, “the market leader of lubricants and chemicals in Turkey”, and “one of the two biggest private companies of Turkey.” Today, Petrol Ofisi has a strong and unparalleled infrastructure in Turkey, consisting of more than 1.700 fuel stations, more than 1.400 village pumps, 9 fuel terminals, 3 LPG terminals, 20 airport refueling units, 1 lubricant factory, and approximately 1.1 million m3 of storage capacity. 


We are looking for a OilCo Trade Manager for our Supply and Logistics Team in our Headquarters who has the following qualifications:


  • University degree in Engineering, Economy, Business Administration, Trade&Finance
  • 5-10 years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge regarding the processes of supply and import of oil
  • Knowledge regarding the legal and regulatory framework of domestic and international fuel supply and sales
  • Available to work overtime and on weekends/public holidays when needed
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English
  • Use of MS Office programs
  • Use of ERP Oracle
  • Effective presentation skills

JOB PURPOSE

  • Assist in developing all types of Business and Projects with Domestic Oil Companies (OilCos).
  • Assist in performing Sales of products to OilCos to enable (1) economies of scale for the overall Supply Structure (2) generate Sales Gross Margin (3) generate Rental & Throughput Income (4) generate Shipping Income -- all the while taking into account the strategic and commercial interests of Retail and Commercial Sales Channels within the company.
  • Assist in creating and developing potential synergies and collaborations towards additional revenue generation, margin creation, and asset utilization with OilCos – Coordinating Projects to this end.
  • Focal point: for any type of OilCo related issue (overcoming commercial / operational / pricing issues) by facilitating creative deals or operations.
  • External Solutions Partner: As the largest OilCo Sales Scope among all Distribution Companies, assisting Management in maintaining the number one and most sought after solutions partner for OilCos, via creative deal making, infrastructure & shipping cooperations, creative solutions regarding pricing - F/X - invoicing - or any other Value Proposition attractive to the targeted OilCo.


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Realize annual OilCo targets.
  • Assist in developing and implementing the OilCo Strategy and Business Objectives.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with OilCos in coordination with Supply Group.
  • Controlling and performing an efficient and flourishing face to face Key Account Management with the defined OilCos and becoming a central contact unit for coordination of any topic regarding the OilCo.
  • Continuously monitor the achievement of business targets in OilCo Business in coordination with the Supply Manager, demonstration of target deviations and effectively perform deviation management.
  • Assist in identifying new business opportunities to increase utilization of business operations and generate additional profit margin, storage and supply utilization.
  • Participation in national and cross-national projects relating to OilCos.
  • Assist Supply Team in mitigating Supply Disruptions (commercial / operational /other) via uncovering the potential in the OilCo pool.
  • Assist the Supply Director & Supply Manager to negotiate and finalize Fuel & LPG OilCo term contracts by taking into account the overal Supply Strategy and Company directives. Manage contracts / deal documentation / execution / operations.
  • Negotiate and finalize Fuel & LPG spot OilCo business contracts in coordination with the Supply Manager by taking into account the Supply Program, the Supply Strategy and all relevant parties. Manage the contracts/deal documentation and operations.
  • Define and optimize the pricing conditions in coordination with Supply Manager and other relevant parties.
  • Negotiate for new potential businesses (terminal optimization, transit delivery operations, potential cooperations with trading companies) and manage all operations/details including investments, contracting processes, operations, internal&external approval processes.
  • Be involved to supply/terminal operations strategies&studies, support for potential cooperations and optimizations using existing know-how about the market and companie all types of Business and Projects with Domestic Oil Companies (OilCos)
  • Ensure the traceability of ongoing businesses.
  • Check and perform the handling of complaints.
  • Coordinate the delivery of services (back office, logistics etc.) with the operational units.
  • Collect relevant information related to the existing and potential business partners, ensure an effective information flow within all Supply Chain accordingly.
  • Optimize procedures and processes (operational / IT / regulations / front and back office) to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of OilCo operations, as well as POAS Supply processes and operations.
  • Participation in the development of POAŞ Supply Strategy in accordance with the Corporate Strategy.
  • Analyse Oilco Performance monthly and report.
