GENEL NİTELİKLER VE İŞ TANIMI

The leader of the fuel and lubricant sectors in Turkey, Petrol Ofisi was founded as the first and national brand of Turkey on February 18, 1941. Petrol Ofisi traditionally maintains its titles as “the leader of fuel sector in Turkey”, “the market leader of lubricants and chemicals in Turkey”, and “one of the two biggest private companies of Turkey.” Today, Petrol Ofisi has a strong and unparalleled infrastructure in Turkey, consisting of more than 1.700 fuel stations, more than 1.400 village pumps, 9 fuel terminals, 3 LPG terminals, 20 airport refueling units, 1 lubricant factory, and approximately 1.1 million m3 of storage capacity.


We are looking for a OilCo Trade Specialist who has the following qualifications to join our Supply and Logistics team in our Headquarters:


  • University Degree in Engineering, Economy, Business Administration, Trade&Finance (Masters Degree is a plus)
  • 3-7 years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge regarding the processes of supply and import of oil
  • Knowledge regarding the legal and regulatory framework of domestic and international fuel supply and sales
  • Job requires overtime after hours and on weekends / public holidays
  • Fluency in written & spoken English

JOB PURPOSE


  • Supporting OilCo Trade Manager for development of business with potential Oil Companies, to ensure POAŞ Strategic Position as a preferred solutions partner for the industry.
  • To execute approved sales and other activities related to Oil Companies, in order to generate additional profit margin and benefit from POAŞ terminal network and supply structure by taking into account the strategic interests of Commercial and Retail sales channels.
  • To be the focal point for any type of OilCo related issue (overcoming commercial / operational / pricing issues) by facilitating creative deals or operations.

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Assist in realizing annual OilCo targets.
  • Assist in implementing the OilCo Strategy and Business Objectives.
  • Maintain effective relationships with OilCos in coordination with Supply Group.
  • Performing an efficient and flourishing Key Account Role with the defined OilCos and becoming a central contact unit for coordination of any topic regarding the OilCo.
  • Assist in monitoring the achievement of business targets in OilCo Business in coordination with the OilCo Trade Manager, explanation of target deviations and document deviation management.
  • Assist in identifying opportunities to increase utilization of operations.
  • Assist in national and cross-national projects relating to OilCos.
  • Assist Supply Team in mitigating Supply Disruptions (commercial / operational /other) via assisting in uncovering the potential in the OilCo pool.
  • Assist in finalizing Fuel & LPG OilCo term contracts / deal documentation / execution / operations.
  • Assist in finalizing Fuel & LPG spot OilCo contracts /deal documentation and operations.
  • Assist in optimizing the conditions of deals, in coordination with the Supply Members and other relevant parties.
  • Assist in new and potential businesses (terminal optimization, transit delivery operations, potential cooperations with trading companies) and relevant operations/details including investments, contracting processes, operations, internal&external approval processes.
  • Be involved in supply/terminal operations strategies&studies, support potential cooperations and optimizations with market know-how.
  • Document to ensure the traceability of ongoing businesses.
  • Check and assist in the handling of complaints.
  • Assist in the delivery of services (back office, logistics etc.) with the operational units.
  • Collect relevant information related to the existing and potential business partners, ensure an effective information flow within all Supply Chain accordingly.
  • Assist in optimizing procedures and processes (operational / IT / regulations / front and back office) to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of operations and processes.
