Tobacco Specialist

We are looking for a Tobacco Specialist for our factory in Torbalı, Izmir, who will be a member of our Science & Innovation team. 

Candidates should have: 

• Bachelor degree, (Engineering is preferred, respectively; Tobacco Technology, Agriculture, Chemical, Food and Industry etc..) 
• Eager to learn about tobacco industry and production, 
• Willing to specialize and pursue a career in leaf and tobacco areas, 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills both in English and Turkish, 
• Advanced Excel and MS office skills, 
• Strong learning on fly and analytical thinking capability, 
• Strong communication, team-work and cooperation skills

The incumbent of the position will: 

• Plan, establish and coordinate implementation of blend recipe maintenance activities for production 
• Predict, analyze and control on chemical trends of tobacco components in line with PMI specifications. 
• Predict, analyze and control on financial trends of tobacco components in line with budgeted figures. 
• Prepare necessary periodic reports for the government offices related with tobaccos. 
• Leading & coordination of sanitation activities. 
• Lead or attend special project teams and quality improvement projects to improve overall factory performance.
