Packaging Development Engineer

We are looking for a Packaging Developer to be employed at Philsa in Product Development organization. The main purpose of the job is to plan and execute packaging development projects, involve in design discussions with market and ensure successful completion of projects.

As a Packaging Developer, you will closely communicate with internal business partners as well as external suppliers located world-wide. This position will enable you to enhance your expertise in the newest technologies in packaging, especially printing and pre-press.

You will assume responsibility to ensure finished goods meet market expectations, compulsory packaging information requirements and Philip Morris International Policies and Standards.

Qualifications:

• University degree preferably from Engineering faculties
• Experience in printing technologies and packaging related areas (tooling preparation, inks, color management etc.) and/or prepress / artwork experience with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is preferable
• Fluency in English both oral and written
• Strong communication, team-work and cooperation skills
• Strong problem solving and analytical thinking capability
• Experience in project management will be an advantage
Completed or deferred (2 years) military service for male candidates

The incumbent of the position will:

• Manage product design data in Product Lifecycle Management system.
• Respond with viable solutions to market demands via overall innovative product, featuring special printing elements and formats.
• Work on multiple projects in parallel.
• Keep abreast of improved capabilities / new developments at PMI product
development, printing suppliers and production centers.
• Communicate efficiently with various business partners with different cultural background and working style.
• Cope with an increasingly changing environment.
