Production Planning Analyst

We are looking for a Planning Analyst for our factory in Torbalı, Izmir, who will be a member of our Primary Production team.
 

The incumbent of this position will:
 

• Prepare the daily and per shift production plan of Primary Department in line with the cigarette production plan while carrying out the tobacco and feeder availability analysis throughout the shift so to keep the production running flawlessly.  Integrate maintenance, cleaning, and calibration activities in production plan while ensuring no supply downtime. Inform and coordinate all relevant parties according to plan, control accuracy of Primary production plan and update where necessary.           
• Every week, open orders for domestic and export markets, covering the consecutive two weeks’ production needs for domestic and three weeks’ needs for export. Coordinate with Import & Logistics to ensure timely tobacco availability for production.                                                                                        
• Ensure physical and financial stock accuracy via conducting month end and year end analysis. Where discrepancies are observed, make action plans with Warehouse, Finance and Secondary departments and follow up on actions plans for Primary. In coordination with other related departments, prepare reports to fulfil Tobacco Board legal requirements.                               
                                                               

Candidates should have :
 

• Bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering, 
• Relative work experience in manufacturing environment will be preferred,
• SAP, PSS, PPT, PM Store, Factory Talk and/or Microsoft Office knowledge will be asset,
• Analytical thinking,
• Problem solving and quick decision making,
• Collaboration and teamwork,
• Good level of communication skills,
• Result oriented approach,
• Fluency in spoken and written English,
• Completed or deferred military service (For male candidates),
• Willingness and no restrictions to work in shifts.
