Demand Planning Specialist

QUALIFICATIONS

Pierre Fabre is the 2nd largest dermo-cosmetics laboratory in the world and the 2nd largest private French pharmaceutical group. The company's products represent a continuum ranging from prescription drugs, dermo-cosmetics, to consumer health care (family health care, oral care and natural health). In 2015, the company dedicated almost 200 million euros to R&D, shared between oncology, dermatology, the central nervous system, consumer health care and dermo-cosmetics.

We are looking for a "Demand Planning Specialist" which is a field-based professional with scientific, clinical and therapeutic area expertise.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Preferably university degree from Engineering departments
• At least 3 years experience in Demand Planning/Supply Chain is preferred
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
• Ability to work in conditions which include multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities.
• Fluent in English, French is a big plus
• Very good command of MS Excel

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Analyze current inventory and sales forecast to determine supply needs
• Make the source plan in monthly basis and adjust the order variations.
• Generates Volume and value forecasting through executing the demand planning components of the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
• Report, analyze and deliver KPI´s (Forecast Bias & Accuracy, Customer Service KPI’s)
• Manage short-term demand requests and problem solving
• Obsolete stock management; identify obsolete stock risks, initiate and follow through required actions to sell out obsolete stock and to avoid them.
• Follow closely marketing plans, coordinates the information cycle between two departments and ensure the commercial plans in terms of goods availability on time and complete. (Including Promo kits, gifts, sampling etc.)
• Contribute to reducing of finished goods stocks on optimum level; follow the supply plan to take corrective actions.
• Inform commercial team about the Slow moving Inventory
• Follow the orders status until their Good receipt to customs
• Is in charge of stock Reconciliation between physical and ERP stock.
• Inform Finance Department for current and future procurement plans in order to help cash flow planning.
• Assure that systems are updated with the correct parameters and maintain ERP system data updated.
