Event Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION :

- Bring extensive knowledge of complex events, logistics and production to the creative process. 

 - Receive customer’s brief, 

- Plan event presentation from start to finish according to program and organizational requirements, target audience and objectives. 

- Work with the Creative team to develop creative solutions/experiential concepts, ensuring adequate and appropriate creative resources 

 - Maintain and coordinate master and project event timelines and schedules, 

- Prepare event budgets and ensure budget adherence in conjunction 

 - Source and negotiate with vendors, contractors and suppliers 

- Manage hiring of event personnel (contractors, seasonal staff, vendors etc.) 

- Supervise all event staff (contractors, seasonal staff, vendors etc.) 

- Track incoming materials including contracts, stipend requests, exhibition formats and riders. 

- Coordinate all event operations 

- Manage client contact leading all communications, calls and meetings 

- Assist in analysis of event success and preparation of reports 

- Support promotional activities for the event in conjunction with marketing staff 

- Record-keeping and updating filing systems 

 QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS 

- 4+ years experience on event management 

- Excellent communication and presentation skills 

- Proven project management skills and experience 

- Detail-oriented, team-player, and able to work under multiple deadlines
