Polat Enerji is a major renewable energy company in Turkey. The company is looking for an Asset Manager to support the operation of over 600MW of wind farms. The Asset Manager reports to the manager of the Asset Management department. The position is located in Kağıthane - İstanbul.

• Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering,
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience,
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
• Ability to travel on the wind farms and occasional travels abroad,
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel,
• Knowledge of scripting queries in Transact SQL on MS SQL Server,
• Preferably knowledge of supervisory control and data acquisition systems (SCADA),
• Preferably knowledge on Turkish Electricity Market legislation,
• Preferably on hand experience on wind turbine O&M activities,
• Possess the health conditions to work in height and climb in a wind turbine,
• Proven experience with report writing and technical analysis.

İŞ TANIMI

• Monitoring operation of the assets and gathering information (maintenance plans, production forecasts, realized production, wind farm and turbine availability, occurred faults and damages, performed repair works and planned maintenance activities, remedial measures and actions…) from various resources (System Operator, Market Operator, Contractors and insiders)
• Performing electricity sales operation (finalizing day ahead production plans, performing data entry to the market operator’s software, monitoring daily production and income, verifying market and bilateral contract settlements, monitoring level of collaterals, providing regular information to Finance and Accounting departments.),
• Converting gathered information into studies, reports and other documents (power curve analysis, performance analysis, operational reports, sales reports…)
• Keeping corporate records updated (stores all gathered information, studies, reports and other documents under public folders or corporate databases.)
• Ensuring compliance to the contracts (verifies all contractual calculations and reports unconformities to the department manager, notifies occurred damages to Insurance department and initiates technical queries to gather more information if it is necessary)
• Performing regular site visits and attending on site activities like internal O&M meetings, safety walks, HSE meetings, trainings and drills and publishing regular reports like daily, weekly and monthly status points, monthly operation report.
• Proposing new methods and solutions to increase assets’ efficiency, providing operational feedback to Resource Assessment department and defending best interests of the company.
