QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Main Job duties:

 

·         Lead Supply Chain teams to meet Strategic Business Unit (SBU) goals and European Supply Chain strategy applying core processes, delivering SBU projects, use of common tools, standardization of KPI for clear direction and control of deliverable in service, cost and inventory.

·         Apply SBU’s policies in order to ensure full customer satisfaction for external and internal customers (OTIF targets).

·         Lead the PSO locally, manage capacity in order to consolidate and transform the profit plan and the 3 months rolling forecasts coming from sales (FOCUS) into production plans for intermediates and Finished Goods.

·         Define planning / stock policy together with production cells.

·         Determine with production cells the main KPI on inventory, batch ticket management and service.

·         Promote and explain the Supply Chain concepts and processes to Business and Manufacturing organizations.

·         Define Procurement policy for raw materials and purchased intermediates, to support production and meet inventory targets.

·         Manage inventory based on goals agreed with Plants, SBU and European Supply Chain; act to minimize risk in inventory.

·         Interact with Logistic team to manage the third party logistic (3PL) and develop all necessary action plans to improve efficiencies to drive cost reduction.

·         Deliver budget of the Supply Chain local costs centers.

·         Contribute to optimize freight and distribution costs.


Specific Accountabilities:


·         SOP Process:  Maintain communication among selling , technical, purchasing , logistic & operations : According to information received by market and affiliates support the development of the monthly demand (through planning and shop floor control), batch size management, bottleneck management .

Drive the PSO Auto and ensure the PSO Auto/Resins is running well. 

·         Customer satisfaction:Reach OTIF and OTD goals per plant and SBU. Ensure that orders are placed to shop floor (scheduling) within agreed lead times. Management of exceptions. Root cause analysis of late deliveries. 

·         External Logistic: Contribute to the attainment of the distribution plan by optimizing distribution costs . 

·         Inventory management: Reach inventory targets and inventory turns, by developing and implementing specific action plans. Follow the MRP best practices controlling the accuracy of the data entered in the system. (regular updates of  parameters (MTS/MTO , Production rules ,Warehouse rules) . 

·         Procurement: Guarantee the respect of OTIF from suppliers, by properly managing the inbound demand and orders. Manage the inbound material demand forecasting and supplier information about important demand changes. 

·         Quality Performance: Follow the ISO/TS essential requirements and contribute to develop the needed documentation about Supply Chain local processes 

·         Local Supply Chain project: Contribute to the definition of European Supply Chain best practices and implement accordingly those core processes with support of the European team 

·         Team coaching: Define performance standard and goals for the exempt positions reporting to the Supply Chain manager. Define a yearly training plan for all the team 

·         Health, Safety and Environment: Maintain a safe and healthy working environment by practicing safety awareness both on and off the job, to ensure personal safety and contribute to the attainment safety objectives, etc.


Requirements:

 

·         Good knowledge on Supply Chain processes, including IT systems technology standards / possibilities

·         Relationship capabilities and communication skills

·         Project management, leadership & planning capabilities

·         Knowledge about OEM’s products portfolio and customers

·         Knowledge in Supply Chain, planning and procurement activities and utilization of related IT tools

·         Fluent English and Turkish is a must
