We are looking for a “Proposal Engineer” for our head office located in Ankara with the qualifications below;

QUALIFICATIONS

·         Mechanical Engineering (must) bachelor degree from reputable universities.

·         1 to 5 years of experience for similar positions is aplus,

·         Have an experience of site construction - operations for industrial plants such as refinery, petrochemical, power plant projects is aplus,

·         Advanced computer skills and proficient in the use of MS Office programs,

·         Advanced Microsoft Excel skill is amust,

·         Being proficient at working to tight deadlines and under pressure, and be able to prioritize tasks,

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Turkish and English,

·         Skills in Russian Language is aplus,

·         Problem solver, analytical thinking, with an ability to query and research,

·         Team player, open minded, desire to learn,

·         Being flexible in working hours,

·         Have no travel restrictions,

·         For male candidates, military service must be completed.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Assisting cost estimation works including

·         Review of tender requirements, summarizing and presenting the project,

·         Preparing quotation packages to get material supply and service prices,

·         Requesting and collecting quotations from the vendors and subcontractors,

·         Technical and commercial evaluations, comparisons of the offers obtained.

·         Cost estimation through the defined norms and preparing the required documentation / deliverables,

·         Preparing questions for the unclear points,

·         Attending clarification meetings with Client when required, 

·         Attending site visits as needed to become acquainted with site conditions and take account of these in the technical/commercial proposals,
