Job Description

Proline R&D is developing Proline’s IoT, BigData and Platform Orchestration Software Product, called iSIM®, for Geographical Information Systems (GIS) Solutions, Physical Security Information Systems, Intelligent Traffic Management, and Cyber Security Systems. We are looking for Software Engineers to help in coding and architecting the product.

Key Responsibilities

• Designing, developing and maintaining iSIM software framework and product
• Integrating various partner vendors devices into iSIM software framework
• Providing excellent documentation regarding software design and implementation
• Contributing to design and code reviews, helping out team members
• Travel (if needed) to customer or partner sites for vendor integration and training.

Requirements

• Excellent software development skills with good understanding of data structures, algorithms, design patterns and object oriented programming concepts.
• Demonstrable knowledge of one of programming languages(C, C++, C#) and willingness to learn  new languages/frameworks
• Familiarity with unit testing frameworks such as NUnit or JUnit
• Familiarity with Source Control (e.g. GIT) and Issue Tracker (e.g. JIRA) systems and Development IDEs (Visual Studio, Eclipse, etc)
• Eagerness to finish tasks and contribute to team work by helping out team members

 Nice to Have

• 5+ years of Software development experience.
• Familiarity with NodeJS, Angular
• Familiarity with technologies like HTML5, Javascript, JQuery, CSS, Bootstrap, React or Electron.
• Experience on Websocket, Web Service, RESTFul interface programming.
• Familiarity with relational database systems (Especially MSSQL and PostgreSQL) and SPs.
• Familiarity with NoSQL database systems.
  
• Familiarity with ONVif Standards, Real Time Transport Protocol (RTP) and Real Time Streaming Protocol (RTSP) and/or Video Analytics/Image Processing.
• Familiarity with GIS technologies like Openlayers, QGIS, PostGIS, Geoserver.
• Familiarity with Message Brokers like Kafka, ZeroMQ, ActiveMQ.
• Familiarity with ELK Stack.
