QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduated from Mechanical / Industrial Engineering department of universities.
• At least 2-4 years experience in Purchasing department.
• Strong skills in analytical thinking, decision making and problem-solving
• Excellent verbal and written skills in English
• Good command of MS Office applications
• Military service must be completed for male candidates
• Live/Willing to live in Izmit

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Responsibility areas are Indirect (Capex, Opex, Service)
• Support to the local management in defining the strategies about the product/services assigned
• Manage operatively the process of purchasing and of order placement in compliance with the central/local strategies and priorities and applying the available frame agreements defined at the central level.
• Guarantee the right delivery of materials/services to the plants, always keeping under track the stock level, in order to assure the regular execution of working activities, cooperating with all the functions involved.
• Collect and issue to the manager the data needed for the periodical reporting.
• Directly negotiate agreements to meet specific local needs
• Participation in the process of researching the local/foreign market for competitive suppliers
• Manage at the local level the relationships with the suppliers, ensuring efficiency, monitoring the purchasing conditions and evaluating the performances of the suppliers (e.g.: Vendor Rating process).
