Protan Turkey is an international company producing roofing and tunnel membranes. The company is a subsidiary of Protan AS Group, a Norwegian industry group that is a world leader in membrane technology. We develop and supply membranes, roof systems, ventilation systems and technical textiles. Our head office is in Drammen, Norway, and we have more than 800 employees in 15 countries, and a total turnover in excess of EUR 180K.

We are now establishing  a new plant and business  in Turkey, Gebze for production and sale of roof and tunnel membranes.

As Protan Turkey, we are now looking for a Product, Quality Assurance and HSE Engineer who will be responsible for the quality process, product development and health-safety-environment in the company.

Job Description:

·      Responsible for Protan Turkey QA-HSE routines and follow-up.

·      Responsible for all Protan Turkey, QA certificates such as ISO, and all necessary documents compare to Turkish standards and laws.

·      Responsible for Product certificates and official approvals based on requirements to sell Protan Turkey products in Turkey and EU countries

·      Responsible for Protan Turkey Laboratory

·      Responsible for implemention and maintaining Protan TQM system (Total Quality Management system)

·      Improve Protan technical product knowledge to support Sales

·      Define and establish Protan roofing School in PMP along with resources and competence in Norway

Requirements:

·      Master / Bachelor degree within engineering . Preferably within construction or industry.

·      Minimum 5 years of experience within Quality, Product Development in a multinational company (preferably manufacturing or contruction company),

·      Fluent in written and oral English.

·      Need an overall good business understanding

       - Ability to see opportunities outside of the box

      - Ability to communicate/negotiate with project managers, purchasers, and upper level managers.

      - Financial abilities and good negotiation skills

·      Self-driven, energetic, take initiative and carry through tasks with high drive

·      Ability to build trust and network at all levels in the business world

·      Culture awareness and ability to interact in all cultures

·      Good social skills and enjoy meeting and being with others

·      Proactive and solution oriented
