Job description

As a QC Supervisor, you ensure compliance of finished goods/intermediates products/raw materials  and their validation status based on defined internal specifications. The QC Supervisor has the responsibility to define the release status for all products.

This position is responsible for all operational performances of his/her department and implements the continuous improvement program towards Operational Excellence.

Key Tasks:

• Ensure that all analyses and process parameters critical to quality on Finished Goods, intermediates , Raw Materials are effectively and efficiently performed, daily reported and that the release status is timely defined in SAP.
• Develop & maintain analytical capabilities and ensure their reliability (implement new QC techniques and reliable control plan).
• Track product / intermediate or Raw Materials variability, collect, communicate corrective actions, and Register internal Non Conformances & corrective actions and edit monthly Quality KPI report
• Responsible for full compliance of his/her department to all applicable legal regulations and international food safety standards: safety, working condition, environment, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), Prerequisite Programs (PRP), British Retail Consortium (BRC), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Halal, allergens etc…
• Responsible for analyzing customer complaints, follow up and revert within specified target time frames.
• Maintain the QC budget under control
• Give support to Production / R&D for improved process monitoring
• Be member of HACCP team
• Maintain the Quality Master Data in SAP (inspection plans, Quality Info Record)
• Reporting to QA&QC Manager.

İŞ TANIMI

• You have a university degree in Food or Chemical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in food industry or FMCG.
• Fluent in English.
• Familiarity with the tools, concepts and methodologies of  Quality Control Management
• Further you have an analytical mindset and are great with numbers.
• Resident on Anatolian part of İstanbul.
• Position will be placed in our Istanbul Tuzla factory. As of July 2021, the work location of the position will be our new factory in İzmir, Tire industrial zone.
