Our team is looking for a new team member as a "Manager" to be part of our Assurance Services in PwC İstanbul office.

For audit engagements, the candidate is expected to;

·       Take active role on-site fieldwork and oversee the Audit process with appropriate consideration of audit risk issues and accounting technical matters

·       Ensure effective audit practices are realized and the assurance services for the assignment are delivered efficiently

·       Monitor the preliminary analytical reviews and analyze the highlighted risk areas for audit reports

·       Track, evaluate and ensure all prepared financial statements and related disclosures condition letters are in an accurate manner and finalize high quality audit reports prior to its submission for signature

·       Use PwC expertise and our Global Audit Methodology, to perform an assurance engagement in compliance with auditing quality standards

·       Deal with the best portfolio of clients, groups of companies which are on 500 Fortune operating in different sectors

·       Identify and address client needs; builds solid relationships with clients, develop an awareness of Firm services, approach client in an organized and knowledgeable manner

·       Will develop an understanding of the client’s business and develop an audit expertise

·       Supervise junior staff, review their work to ensure that PwC standards are met and constantly give real time feedback to help them learn, develop and progress

Qualifications:

·       Bachelor’s degree from Business Administration, Economics or related departments of a reputable university supported with accounting and finance degree will be a plus

·       Has minimum 5 years of audit experience in an international services firm supported with a general knowledge of Audit regulations and IFRS reporting

·       Excellent knowledge in IFRS (having IFRS compilation and conversion experience is an asset)

·       Project management experience, including project planning and monitoring, client and communication management

·       Financial analysis, financial reporting, data analytics and project management experience is an asset

·       Ability to work in highly ethical and professional environment

·       Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills

·       Holding a SMMM certificate is a must, professional accountancy qualification (SPK, CPA etc.) is an asset

·       Excellent knowledge of written and verbal English
