About the role

We are looking for a Product Owner who will bring our product to life with user stories, has product development skills, asks the right questions and has strong communication as a vital member of our development team in our Izmir, Tech-Hub of the London-based FinTech initiative, which is taking fast steps towards becoming a unicorn.

Focusing on the introduction of new products within our digital wallet as an experienced Product Owner your skills and experience will include:

• Experience working with world-class products in a fast-growing, fast paced, dynamic organisation.

• Knowledge of the Fintech Industry including compliance, KYB, FX, funds movement, etc.

• Knowledgeable and passionate about delivering value through technology.

• Data driven: validating assumptions through customer research and data analysis.

• Good at facilitating, coaching and mentoring individuals and teams.

• Ability to manage conflicting stakeholder requirements to drive towards an outcome.

• A good understanding and experience of a variety of Lean and Agile delivery approaches.

• Curious about learning new ways of working and open to experimentation.

• At least 5 years of web or mobile product development experience

• Excellent level of spoken and written English

• No military obligation for at least one year for male candidates

As a Product Owner and working within your particular Squad you will be responsible for:

• Gather requirements and create user stories.

• Work to the Agile best practices including participating in all ceremonies.

• Define milestones

• Translating ideas through to successful implementation

• Own and execute the product roadmap

• Accountable for value proposition and prioritisation

• Establish and keep up to date a deep specialist knowledge of your specific domain

• Work with stakeholders across the business to undertake requirement capture and analysis.

• Work with business analysts and the development team

• Provide design and documentation of product development

• Work with CTO and Product-Marketing to discuss development priorities

• Stay up to date on emerging technologies

• Proficient in using project and process management tools (preferably Azure DevOps)

The ideal Product Owner:

• Will have worked as a Business Analyst earlier in their career before moving into a Product Owner/ Managers role

• Be CSPO, PMI or PSPO-I, PSPO-II certificated

• Is an Agile evangelist

• You love solving problems

• You have 5+ years experience creating customer facing products, ideally in high-growth start-ups

• You have extensive experience building intuitive navigation and UX for large feature sets (background in information architecture is preferred)

• Strong empathy for customers and an unwillingness to compromise on user-centred design

• You are highly logical and highly technical

• You have a track record of building successful products using data, customer feedback, common sense, and / or machine learning

• Come from a Fintech or Gaming background or an Incubator in a larger Financial Services company

• Worked in a startup in hyper growth model

• Successfully launched a business or product in a new market or founded a company
