Senior Accountant (Temporary)

We are looking for a “Senior Accountant ” for our multinational client

Qualifications;

-Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline required.

-Minimum 5 years working experience in Finance, Accounting or Reporting department of an international insurance company

-Knowledge of general financial accounting, IFRS rules, tax requirements and cost accounting

-Knowledge and working experience in regulatory (SEDDK) reporting

-Fluent English

-Hands-on mentality

-Excellent communication and negotiation skills

-Experience in handling of personal sensitive data

-Advanced MS Excel skills

Responsibilities;

-Work closely with team members to supervise bank operations and payments, bank, cost accounting and management (incl. dunning) of the accounts receivables

-Manage bookings for accruals, prepaids, staff receivables/payables

-Communication with external payroll provider and responsibility for salary bookings

-Communication with external parties (Brokers, Customers, Stakeholders).

-Preparation of Turkish GAAP reporting

-Reporting to National bank and statistic offices

-Supervision of reporting to tax authorities

-Reporting to colleagues in Germany for monthly, quarterly and annually IFRS closings

-Reporting to regulator (SEDDK) monthly, quarterly and annually

-Administration of local chart of accounts and mapping to Group chart of accounts based on IFRS 17

-Provides outside auditors with assistance; gathers necessary account information and documents to perform annual audit.

-Ad-hoc reporting to controlling, internal auditors and other stakeholders
