Our client provides tailor-made consultancy services on strategic and operational sustainability for its clients in the perspective of sustainable development.  Currently, we are looking for a full-time “Senior Environmental Consultant” to join our client's team in İstanbul for our local and global projects.

Expertise Required:

? University degree in a relevant engineering branch is required. (Environmental engineering is preferred but other engineering will not be dismissed). Master's degree in in climatology, environmental sciences, environmental management and policy, is an asset.

? 10 years of previous professional experience in environmental impact management in public- or privately-owned companies is an asset. Candidates whose experience is between 5 and 10 years will also be assessed.

? Previous consultancy experience is an asset.

? Experience in producing environmental due diligence reports or developing action plans or conducting similar type of studies in accordance with the requirements of International Financial Institutions (IFIs) is mandatory.

? Institutional capacity building activities in the environmental impact assessment field is an asset.

? Experience of conducting EIA and monitoring studies is an asset.

? Practical knowledge on IFIs’ environmental and social requirements as well as health and safety issues and experience of successful implementation, reporting and monitoring of mentioned topics is a strong asset.

? Liaise with customers throughout the project lifecycle

? Prepare business proposals/presentations
