Job Brief Information

The Financial Controller position is an excellent opportunity who have experience in managing & reporting financials. The Financial Controller is responsible for the daily management, coordination and reporting of the financials, payroll, accounts receivable & payable, financial projections; and monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting, projections & budgets. The Financial Controller is expected to use an accounting software (preferably online), detail-oriented and have an aptitude for using Technology to increase efficiency and reduce errors.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities will be assigned to him/her by the CEO to manage the financials & reporting for GAMYTE USA & Turkey. Each step of his/her work will require contribution of team effort & work that is based on communicating & collaborating with his/her colleagues and the management. The responsibilities are:

• Understanding the job description, processes and workflows that is assigned to him/her
• Daily management of the payroll, financials, including account receivable & payable
• Preparing the budgets, income & expense forecasts and their revisions, if needed
• Preparing the CAPEX & OPEX budgets, budget vs actual comparison analysis
• Preparing the financial statements and projections
• Preparing the monthly P/L & Balance Sheets, budget vs actual comparison analysis
• Preparing the monthly closing reports and handling month-end close processes, including pre & post controlling
• Managing the accuracy of the accounts payable and receivables in order to make timely collections and payment
• Maintaining the monthly payment schedules
• Preparing and following up the cash flow as weekly and monthly, involving in cash flow projection & reporting
• Monitoring costs & carry out all analyses required to identify risks and to propose the appropriate actions
• Preparing the monthly/quarterly/annual profitability analysis, OPEX controlling & management reports
• Controlling the costs in line with budget/forecasts; preparing variance analysis by comparing budget & actual
• Managing reporting of actual and forecasts; ensuring transparency, accuracy and timeliness of this process
• Coordinating with the local consultants for tax compliance and social security issues
• Ensuring the required flow of data and information to the Headquarter in given deadlines
• Initiating and ensure implementation of internal control activities and proper IT controls
• Continuously improving IT infrastructure to create maximum efficiency in the financial reporting and budgeting
• Managing IT change requests related to reporting and controlling
• Taking necessary actions in the company to comply with Turkish regulations
• Participating project meetings and understanding its responsibilities & duties assigned

Qualifications

The ideal candidate is expected to have experience with Recurring Revenue, using Quickbooks Online or equivalent Online financial software and working experience at fast growing startup.

Requirements

• MSc/BSc or BA in Business Administration, Economy or Related Fields
• Minimum 10 years of experience at the Controller level to manage and report on the financials
• Fluent in English and Turkish
• Excel Rock-star
• Proficiency with MS Word, Power point, Math Ability with analytical mindset

Hours and Environment

• Professional Office Environment with an international business management philosophy
• Monday to Friday, from 08.30 am to 18.30 pm.
