QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A Bachelor degree level education, greater than 8 years of progressive experience in the field of supply chain, operations or engineering (preferably Aerospace)
  • Demonstrated ability and knowledge of various software packages, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint,
  • Strong communication skills in the form of written, verbal and formal presentation,
  • Ability to independently plan and prioritize multiple projects with attention to detail and work collaboratively across functional areas,
  • Personal honesty and integrity,
  • Excellent command of English language,
  • Ability to build relationships and skillful in collaborating between interdepartmental personnel,
  • Interpersonal skills combined with strong oral and written communication skills,
  • Ability to manage business processes and troubleshoot issues that may arise,

 

JOB DESCRİPTİON:

The key duties of the successful candidate are;

  • Developing and managing effective supplier relationships to achieve the business requirements.
  • Surveillance and monitoring of assigned suppliers.
  • Evaluation of supplier performance including the Identification & mitigation of risk.
  • Developing high-level sourcing strategy which identifies the best products and services available
  • Support and potentially lead supplier performance recovery & improvement activities
  • Using regional and supplier knowledge to provide input to supply chain planning.
  • Identification and pursuit of quality, cost, delivery, and lead time improvements.
  • Ability to collaborate and effectively influence across multiple functions, cultures and geographic regions, to achieve global end to end supply chain performance requirements. (This requires working with teams located in different time zones, resulting in the need to be flexible with working hours, as required.)
  • Supervise and report on overall strategic goals and suppliers, including performance, efficiency, scale, flexibility, pricing, and risks
