Reed Turkey is looking for a “Contracts Manager” for its multinational client’s legal team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree of law 

• At least 4 years of contracts law experience • Expertise in negotiating contracts and RFPs 

• Proficiency in Turkish Code of Obligations, public sector legislation (service agreements, confidentiality agreements, and indemnity agreements, partnering agreement and its terms and conditions e.g. limitation of liability, indemnification, termination, confidentiality obligations etc.)

• Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with exceptional customer service focus and detail-oriented perspective 

• Handling contracts for Turkey, Azerbaijan and EEMA region jurisdiction, 

• Excellent articulation and communication skills, 

• Ability to lead change management, “can do” attitude & ability to get things done 

• Natural ambition to learn 

• Solid relationship building skills 

• Strong analytical skills 

• Fluency in English, and other language skills advantageous 

• Mastery of MS Office and database management Responsibilities 

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review and negotiate standard commercial contracts 

• Collaborate with local and global legal team members to process complex forms of agreement or address new issues 

• Maintain the company’s standard form contracts and related documents in accordance with departmental policies and procedures 

• Maintain databases for legal compliance matters, including a system to track whether contracts have been executed, with a reminder system for any required follow up 

• Support internal stakeholders on public sector relevant contractual issues 

• Provide drafting and negotiation skills, including ability to accurately conduct analysis, coordinate effectively, and use appropriate risk mitigation practices
