Remed Assistance is looking to grow its internal creative team!
We are looking for a Senior Copywriter to drive and create brand communication on various platforms and support product development. This position will help support our current creative foundation. The Senior Copywriter will help grow the department and build brands that positively impact people.
Position Summary:
- The Senior Copywriter works collaboratively with art directors, brand managers, developers, social media managers to develop user-friendly products and communication content on all media platforms.
- Responsible for creating and developing engaging brand interaction through web and mobile interface designs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred,
- 5 or more years related experience required (working with consumer brands in reputable agencies is a plus),
- English is a must, French is a plus other languages are also a plus,
- Demonstrated judgment and imagination for the creation of brand communication and content,
- Experience with online content (websites, email, banner ads, etc.),
- Motivated, self-starter with an action oriented and can-do attitude,
- Capable of juggling multiple projects, sticking to deadlines and ensuring high-quality error-free output.
Key Accountabilities:
- Proofreads and assumes responsibility for error-free body copies of brand’s final communication output,
- Prepares scripts for web content, social media, broadcast, print or web projects, annual reports, manifesto copies, executive speeches and editorial copies among others,
- Keeps up with trends, competition and target mindsets,
- Works on manifesto copy, creating social posts, editorial copy, among other things,
- Extraordinary skills with both headline and body copy,
- Enthusiasm for collaboration across disciplines and an ability to take ownership of work,
- Helps devise original, strategically sound and engaging copy, working cross functionally with other teams across the company,
- Attends briefing sessions and discuss brand strategy and purpose of the brief with the appropriate members of the brand/project management teams,
- Where necessary, challenges preconceptions and propose alternative approaches or solutions where these will more effectively achieve the objectives identified in the brief,
- Takes responsibility for initial spell checking and then amendments to own copy in light of clients’ comments,
- Expresses thorough understanding of client’s business as well as their competitor’s,
- Solicits “the right information” upfront translating to a better product the first time.
