QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

RELA, which has more than 25 years of experience in plastics business, having multiple agencies and distributorships of global and reliable companies both in plastics raw materials, auxiliaries and Hot Runner systems.

We are hiring a high caliber Technical Sales Manager who has experience in Hot Runners / Injection Molds or Injection Molding process to expand its organization in sales and marketing.

The Technical Sales Manager will be responsible for building strong relationship and sales of the products by introducing hot runner systems and control devices to our customers who produce plastic parts in segments such as automotive, white goods, electrical-electronics and packaging who operates as OEMs, molders (converters) or mold makers. Apart from the sales activates, basic level of hands on service intervention activities (like changing thermocouple etc.) might be required at the first stage.

The Technical Sales Manager will be responsible for reaching and exceeding the sales and business development goals. He is required to focus on sales-hunt while having capabilities to maintain the business with existing customers.

There will be a technical trainings period for the sales leader in the HQ of the Hot Runner Manufacturer. This is a unique opportunity for a high caliber candidate who wants to grow the business almost from scratch, as he will be the #1 employee of the Hot Runner business unit for our customers in Türkiye.

The candidates must have at least 5 years of relevant sales experience in hot runners or plastic injection molding or mold making. The candidates who worked in multinational companies will be best matches for the role. Fluency in English is a mandatory.

Sales & business development, organization and good communication skills, trustable, persuasive, entrepreneurial, business acumen, self starter, self motivator and result oriented approach are important factors to determine the best fitting candidate for the position. Technical Sales Leader will be the consultant of our customers who offers the best solutions to keep their business in the lead.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops/implements sales plans to reach the goals,
  • Define target accounts, create strategies to penetrate those target accounts
  • Create strategies to increase the share of wallet related to market and industry segment
  • Checking competitive landscape and create ideas on how to overcome competitive challenges
  • Coordinates the communication of new product launches within the company as well as to the customers
  • Frequent visits to the clients and prospects, to understand the challenges and needs in order to provide the best solution
  • Training customers to ensure they extract the full value out of the World in Class hot runners solutions
  • Developing sales forecasting activities, pricing structures and execute accordingly
  • Represents the company at trade shows and in sectoral congresses
  • Maintains accurate records in CRM
  • Act as a bridge between technical team in HQ and customers.
  • Basic hands on troubleshooting and service intervention

 

Qualifications:

  • High level of English literature (both written and verbal) as there will be constant communication with the HQ.
  • Technical degree from a leading university. Ideally mechanical/polymer engineer
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in plastic injection molding, hot runners or mold making industry
  • Ideally having experience in selling hot runners as well as having an established customer portfolio who is ready to sell
  • Alternatively having experience in mold-shops especially in automotive business
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment
  • Ability to work with different departments of the clients (technical, purchasing, finance, logistics…)
  • Strong attention to details, effective client management skills, strong influencing and negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of business and technology trends
  •  Result orientated and strategic thinking ability
  • Good business acumen, leadership and representation skills
  • Strong organizational, Project management and multitasking skills
  • Ability to handle pressure and work to challenging deadlines
  • Flexibility to travel- Driving license is a must!
  • Completed military service, for male candidate
