Procurement Specialist

We are looking for a PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST

for our gifts and premiums Company, operating at Gültepe, İstanbul.

Experience acquired from FATOŞ TOYS, our company Prowide Promotions employs 30 team members and holds in-house design, production, purchasing and sales departments. Our company provides its customers with unique and custom design products to support their marketing activities for 20 years. Unilever, Koç Holding, Garanti Bank, Johnson Wax, Abdi İbrahim Pharmaceuticals, Duracell, Eczacıbaşı Consumer Goods are a few of our customers.

Product range to be purchased vary from soft toys to electronic toys, from bags to porcelain.

Job description of our candidate is as follows:

• Research and identify local & international suppliers for the required OEM design or stock products. with the highest quality and lowest cost in line with the company objectives and departmental procedures
• Create alternative suppliers
  
• Cost calculation of import goods by consulting regulatory sources and customs agent
• Conduct detailed technical written communication (mostly toys) with suppliers for production samples and production quality control operations.
  
• Manage their compliance with set aestetic requirements and relevant import, safety and other regulations
  
• Manage and track all stages of purchasing and logistics till goods reach factory warehouse, within the required timelines and cost objectives

• Prepare requested reports

QUALIFICATIONS

• University degree with min. 3 years of experience in purchasing in local and/or foreign markets
• Preferably experienced in gifts/premiums, toys or related sectors
• Excellent command of written and spoken English
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Analytic, organized, practical and detail-oriented
• Enthusiastic about learning new products and techniques
• Knowledge in foreign trade procedures
