GENEL NİTELİKLER VE İŞ TANIMI

We are looking for a dynamic, energetic, and target driven“International Student Marketing and Recruitment Specialist” for our International Relations Office.


Work Location: Sabancı University Tuzla Campus

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor Degree in relevant programs.
  • Significant and recent experience and knowledge of working in a higher education international student recruitment environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Turkish and English (Second language is preferable: Arabic, Russian)
  • Experience of travelling and willingness to travel independently throughout the target regions (Africa, Middle East, Asian Countries etc.…)
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications.
  • Demonstrable competencies such as planning and organization, diligent and accurate work, being analytic and result oriented.
  • Ability to operate at all levels of the organization acting as an ambassador for the International Office and University internally and externally
  • Flexible with ability to manage uncertainty and strong presentation skills
  • Attentive to deadlines with a high level of relationship focus with involved parties
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments on a timely basis, with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality
  • Knowledge on international admission processes and country-based systems (secondary school and university level)
  • Knowledge on Residence Permit Process and Equivalence Application process.
  • Military service completed for male candidates


JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • To identify and execute international marketing and student recruitment planning.
  • To develop strategies and implement activity that delivers on recruitment targets in line with the university’s strategic targets.
  • To monitoring competitor developments and market trends.
  • To plan and attend marketing fairs, high schools visit, prospective student recruitments events etc.
  • To manage agent relationships, with an emphasis on training and support to ensure high loyalty and best performance
  • To create meeting and partnership opportunities with consulates, NGOs, education attaches, high school counselors and any related ministry offices in the target regions.
  • To provide information, advice and guidance to prospective students, teachers, parents, careers counsellors, on and off campus, to increase applications and conversion to enrolment
  • To support the continuous improvement of marketing materials, such as presentations, brochures, roll ups, printed type of materials, ensuring that these are targeted to individual school or audience needs.
  • To manage and support all kind of digital media campaigns and planning (social media marketing management).
  • To manage undergraduate online application system: evaluating student applications, supporting their application process, informing candidates throughout the whole process (be the main contact person throughout the whole process)
  • To monitor, develop admission requirement list in line with Ministry of Education Equivalence Regulations.
  • To analyze the undergraduate admission process and provide innovative feedbacks and ideas.
  • To work with internal department in terms of international student admission process, such as Student Resources, Faculties and Rectorate offices.
  • To welcome and support incoming international students by organizing a full-fledged orientation week in cooperation with other related departments
  • To guide and help current international student on any matter.
  • To manage any other job given by the office manager.
