R&D Manager

SAİNT GOBAİN WEBER YAPI KİMYASALLARI SANAYI VE TİC.A.Ş.

We are seeking a Research & Development Manager with the will and ambition to work in R&D Department of Weber Turkey’s Izmir Factory.

 • Minimum BS degree from Chemical Engineering or Chemistry departments, (preferably has a Master’s degree) 

• Minimum 6 years of experience in R&D department, preferably in construction chemicals sector or in a related sector 

• Excellent command of English both written and verbal 

 • Proven leadership skills and be able to work in a team, with experience of working to tight deadlines 

• Should ideally have experience in design of experiment 

• No restriction for travelling in and out of the country 

• The ideal candidate should be Passionate, Enthusiastic and Adaptable 

JOB DESCRIPTION

 The suitable candidate will be responsible from; 

 • Managing and coordinating new and existing R&D Product Development Projects. 

• Leading and managing the R&D functions of the department 

 • Following market trends and participating in market research activities in various areas 

• Carrying out the projects on new raw materials, formula and technology 

 • Will have proven leadership skills and be able to work in a team, with experience of working to tight deadlines 

 • Following R&D related laws, legislations, funds and grants 

• Evaluating and resolving technical and production issues 

• Assessing equipment requirements to achieve objectives and manage the costing, planning and purchasing of any additional equipment 

• Working in close cooperation with manufacturing, marketing, sales and purchasing departments 

• Reporting to R&D and QC Director located in Izmir Factory

 • Managing a team and being responsible from their career development and work schedule
