• Graduated from engineering departments of universities (Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Material Engineering etc.)
• At least 5 years  of experience as a Purchasing Specialist  in metal (steel, wire, screws etc), plastic, packaging, chemicals, etc. material groups,
• Good team player , self-disciplined, result-oriented,  analytical thinking , strong communication, negotiation, persuasion, coordination, presentation skills,
• Good command of English,
• Good command of MS Office Applications (good level in MS Excel is preffered) and ERP systems (prefably IFS),
• Highly motivated and energetic,
• Eager to learn and explore,
• No military obligation for male candidates,
• Living in European side of İstanbul,
• B type driving license and active driver.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Manages all purchasing and procurement processes in related direct metarial groups (metal, plastic, packaging, chemicals groups etc.).
• Works collaboratively with Planning, Production, Logistics, Quality and Accounting departments internally and manages all procurement processes.
• Makes / manages price negotiations and price agreements with the local and the overseas suppliers.
• Manages / develops cost analysis structures with the suppliers for the related material groups.
• Conducts negotiations on cost, quality, payment and delivery terms optimization with the suppliers.
• Researches alternative suppliers, materials and manages all cost reduction activities.
• Manages all contract (general, confirdentiality etc.) processes with the suppliers.
• Coordinates all purchasing processes for the new projects with R&D and Quality departments.
• Researches the supply market (local and overseas) and takes role to develop all the purchasing strategies.
• Takes active role in Supply and Quality Performance Management System and takes all necessary activities for the continuity / improvement of the system.
• Takes active role in the scope of supplier development activities and manages all necessary activities with the suppliers.
