QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • 4-year bachelor's degree in any of Engineering major, Business Administration, Marketing or Economics. MBA is preferred.
  • Min. 10 years of experience preferably automotive (commercial vehicles) aftermarket industry. Experience in B2B sales in the automotive sector is preferred.
  • Being worked as a director of sales in an international aftermarket brand previously, would be an asset.
  • Fluent English and Turkish, both oral and written is mandatory, any additional language is highly preferred.
  • Results-oriented, open to development and learning.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills 
  • No obligation for travelling.
  • Self-confident, strong analytical and interpersonal skills even under stress.
  • High skills of motivation.
  • Strong exposure to and understanding of international aftermarket industry competition.
  • Provides customer intelligence in evaluating the market and economic trends that may lead to changes in sales strategy to meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Strong Sales Management background, preferably acquired in a multinational company.
  • Ambitious, self-motivated, hard-working, result orientated, problem solver with a positive outlook and a clear focus on achieving commitments
  • Strong knowledge of Office programs and SAP modules.
  • No military obligations for male candidates.
  • Ready to live or residing in Samsun.

We are looking for team member who will work as a SALES DIRECTOR at our company in the Automotive Supply Industry located  in Samsun.


JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Plans, coordinates and controls all sales activities and terms with customers. Ensure achievement with assigned international Key Accounts based on Country’s sales policies, strategies and tactics
  • Initiates, derives and coordinates the sales team activities. Continuously launches team development activities for performance and talent management.
  • Develops sales goals and strategies and verifies alignment with the brand business strategy.
  • Rolls out marketing plans over sales team and continuously follows up sales reporting activities.
  • Improves and develops territory alignment, coverage and segmentation for each market.
  • Serves the top management with sales excellence ideas and follows up the necessary projects with the top management.
  • Adding new customers into relevant markets and continuously enhancing customer portfolio.
  • Ensures the preparation of the annual budget for sales targets including sales costs (loyalty program costs, bonuses, etc) and sales force expenses.
  • Follows up the market changes and continuously adapts sales strategies to market conditions.
  • Coordinates and complies with marketing, corporate communication and sales excellence teams and ensures the effective execution of visionary targets and strategic plans for the company.
  • Develops specific business development recommendations that will provide competitive advantages for the brand in some specific markets.
  • Suggests innovative marketing ideas and develops deployment strategies to continue to grow market share.
